HORNBY ISLAND
is unique with its geographic beauty and creative lifestyles.
When you come, be ready to explore all its amazing diversity:
There are sandy beaches, intriguing sandstone formations, the high elevation with walking trails up on Mount Geoffrey and the beauty of Helliwell Provincial Park.
Throughout the summer there is an open market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Artist Resource Centre is open during these times as part of its weekly schedule, Wednesdays to Sundays from 11-4pm. These wonderful paintings depicting Hornby scenery can be seen here until August 5th., 2007.
Due to the delicate nature of the Island's ecosystem, please be respectful when viewing these sites.  Remove all garbage and recycling when you leave and please, no smoking. Water is scarce in the summer and the woods are dry.
